Classic and sophisticated yet trendy and fun; Botkier’s fresh and innovative designs have placed the brand in the forefront of fashion and it is no surprise to see the brand team up with actress Lake Bell to bring to you an exclusive design which helps a charity both hold dear to their hearts.

Monica Botkier’s love for Oxfam International has led her to collaborations with actresses such as Michelle Trachtenberg, Joy Bryant, and Minnie Driver. When asked to be a part of this amazing, ongoing project, Lake Bell could not resist. “We were blown away by her response, her enthusiasm for the project was incredible!” pointed out Monica Botkier. Also in love with Oxfam, Bell has become the fourth to join forces with Botkier, creating together the Lake Satchel, a suede, cross body satchel that is lady like but edgy; something a little different but still very functional. The design is inspired by a vintage Botkier design, the Margot. Lake wanted something that was a little more structured and lady like but keeping true to her downtown vibe, she made the bag her own by adding the two tone saddle suede and muted silver hardware.  Retailing at $495, 50% of the proceeds benefit the Oxfam charity. The bag is available for purchase exclusively at ShopBop.com.

More on Oxfam...

Oxfam International was formed in 1995 by a group of independent non-governmental organizations. Their aim was to work together for greater impact on the international stage to reduce poverty and injustice. The name “Oxfam” comes from the Oxford Committee for Famine Relief, founded in Britain in 1942. As well as becoming a world leader in the delivery of emergency relief, Oxfam International implements long-term development programs in vulnerable communities. They are a part of a global movement, campaigning with others, to end unfair trade rules, demand better health and education services for all, and to combat climate change. Today, there are 14 member organizations of the Oxfam International confederation. Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Quebec, Spain and the United States.
